Annual PhD Conference in Biomedical Sciences – Meeting in Research aims to bring together PhD students from 3 doctorate programs at the Department of Medicine & Surgery, UNIMIB – DIMET, Neurosciences, Public Health, offering students a chance to present their research in front of their peers, supervisors and the Doctoral Board/Committee.

It is for the first time a PhD conference is being held jointly, involving students of all three Doctorate Programs, with the idea to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers to present and discuss their research, facilitate exchange of ideas and promote communication and interaction.

Call for Contributions

All 2° and 3° year PhD students are requested to contribute through submission of their research abstracts. The Selection Commission of each of the Doctorate Programs will review the abstracts and select 18 contributions for the oral presentation and rest for the poster presentation.

Deadlines:
Abstract submission: July 15 th , 2023
Selection results: July 30 th , 2023
Submission of Poster/Oral presentation: Sept.14 th

già direttore del Centro Studi di Sanità Pubblica.
Si è occupato prevalentemente di psicofisiologia dello stress e di epidemologia, con particolare riguardo ai rapporti tra fattori sociali e malattie.

Principal investigator in studi internazionali e nazionali, ha ricoperto molte cariche accademiche e ha al suo attivo numerose pubblicazioni scientifiche e divulgative, in campo medico, culturale e sociale.
Dal 2009 al 2015 è stato presidente della Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico di Milano.
