Quality Assurance (QA) is the process by which universities achieve improvement objectives through continuous monitoring and self-evaluation of the Educational Programme, of Research and of the Third Mission. On the basis of the different academic levels and of the different functions and skills, the University has implemented an internal Quality Assurance system in the sphere of Education as well as in Research and Third Mission activities, in order to promote an observation over time of the results obtained, detect critical issues and implement corrective actions based on the tools provided by the AVA system (Self-evaluation, accreditation and evaluation of the Italian university system).

At the Department, the following is active: the Group for Quality Assurance of Research and the Third Mission, the Management Groups for Quality Assurance of the courses of study, the Lecturers/Students Joint Committee.
